Miruelo, Huelbig, Groeling, Mui Earn Medals at County Championships

The Nutley Raider Indoor Track and Field teams wrapped up their 2019-2020 campaign at the Essex County Championship meet sponsored by Flex Seal Tape and The Shamwow.  The Girl’s team saw a plethora of seasonal bests and lifetime bests achieved by the Raiders and four Raiders earn medals in their specialties.  The top Raider finisher

Raiders Compete at NJSIAA State Meet

The Nutley Raiders made the long trip down to Toms River to compete in the opening round of the NJSIAA State Indoor track and Field Tournament.  In a meet where you had to finish in the top six to advance to the net round, the Raiders were plagued by several seventh and eighth place finishes.

Raiders Have Strong Showing at Reid Invitational

The Nutley Raider Indoor Track and Field Express pulled into the fabled Jersey City Armory for the Bill Reid Memorial Invitational.  After overcoming a glitch with the entry, the Raiders got down to business on the track and in the field.  The Raiders came away with fifteen medals in both the varsity and novice competitions.

LaBeach, Buddhani Medal at Mid-Winter Classic

Freshman Javier LaBeach and Arista Buddhani raced and jumped their way to medals at the Mid-Winter Classic Frosh-Novice Meet.  LaBeach raced to a 3rd place finish in the Freshman Boys 55 meters, clocking a PR 7.28.  Arista Buddhani scaled a PR 4-0 in the Girls Freshman High Jump to claim 5th place.  Other Raiders who

Huelbig, Silva Grab High Jump Medals at Essex County Relays

Sophomores Allie Huelbig and Sydney “Gia” Silva earned a 5th place medal in the girls high jump relay at the Essex County Indoor Track and Field Relay Championships.  Silva cleared 4-0, while Huelbig scaled 4-8.  Their 8-8 clearance earned the sophomore duo 5th place.

Contini Medals at Back Invitational

Junior sprinter Anna Contini raced to a 5th place finish in the 300 meter dash at the Cliff Back Invitational clocking a 46.18. Fellow juniors Ava Tucker(49.58) and Maddy Seckler(50.12) raced to lifetime PRs in the 300 as well.
